Social services

The social services network in Vilnius District is of various types and subordination, covering different social groups of people. General social services such as information, counselling, mediation and representation services, organisation of transport services, organisation of provision of technical aids, support with foodstuffs and personal hygiene products, assessment of a person's activity and ability to participate are provided by the Social Services Centre of the Community of Juodšilių Eldership. For social services, persons can contact:

When applying for social services, persons must submit a completed application form.

Personal assistant services for people with disabilities in Vilnius District are provided by the Vilnius District Social Services Centre. To apply for personal assistance services, please contact the eldership of your place of residence or Tatjana Mišančiukova, Senior Specialist at the Social Welfare Department of the Vilnius District Municipality (Rinktinės St. 50, Vilnius, tel. (0 5)  275 6768, e-mail: tatjana.misanciukova@vrsa.lt).

Personal assistant services for people with disabilities in Vilnius District are provided by the Vilnius District Social Services Centre. To apply for personal assistance services, you should contact your local municipality of residence or the Vilnius District Social Services Centre (Bažnyčios St. 21, Nemenčinė, Vilnius District Municipality, tel. Day care services for adults with mental, psychological, physical or complex disabilities living in Vilnius District are provided by the Nemenčinė Day Employment Centre for People with Disabilities.
