Analysis of the demand for Lithuanian language lessons for foreign-born residents

As Vilnius District is becoming an increasingly popular place to live not only for residents of Lithuania, but also for those from abroad, we would like to hear from you: Do you have a need to learn Lithuanian language?

We invite foreign-born residents who have a desire to learn Lithuanian to fill in an anonymous survey on the demand on language courses.

We remind you that The Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania has adopted amendments to the Law on the State Language, under which it has been agreed that, from 2026, information on goods and services must be provided and labelled in the official language.

Companies and private entities selling goods or providing services in Lithuania, as well as other organisations and their branches, will have to provide direct services to the public in the official language at the level of proficiency in the Lithuanian language set by the Government.
