The symbol of Sudervė is the Sudervė St. Trinity Churc, which is one of the few churches in Lithuania with a round shape. The church is a monument of architectural heritage.
The red field of the coat of arms depicts a silver rotunda with a golden cross on top. Silver in heraldry means virtue, wealth, chastity and water. Red stands for courage, bravery and love. The relationship between the red field and the white church symbol connotes the Lithuanian state heraldry – the Vytis.
The author of the coat of arms standard is the artist Rolandas Rimkūnas.
