In a silver field, a green tree at the foot of a red brick wall – figures that symbolise a vibrant, growing and creative community. The tree in the in the coat of arms, or rather the apple tree, symbolises growth, in a way mediating between the earth and the sky, “a creature of two worlds”.

In Christian iconography, the tree symbolises God’s blesses life, the recurring cycle of its years testifying to life, death and resurrection.

The brick on the lower part of the coat of arms are reminiscent of the foundations on which a house is built.
