The symbol chosen for the coat of arms are the green shield of the coat of arms with a silver left side symbolising the Vokė river flowing through Pagiriai. On the right side of the shield is a silver branch of a flowering apple tree. The composition of the silver left side and the silver flowering branch of the apple tree rotating in an arch is reminiscent of the letter “P”, the first letter of the name of the village Pagiriai. The blossoming apple branch is symbolic of the growing and developing community of Pagiriai.
In heraldry, silver represents water, honestly and loyalty. In the heraldry, the colour green represents courage and love. Gold stands for light, spiritual wealth.
