The golden field of the armorial shield depicts three green birch leaves with the same-coloured scissors in the ribbon position. The golden colour of the shield’s field symbolises wisdom and virtue. The symbolism of this plant is not chosen by chance. The birch leaves are the “talking” figures of the coat of arms, alluding to the name of the town. Various parts of the birch tree also have healing properties and are used as a remedy for many diseases. In Slavic culture, the birch tree is considered a symbol of youth and life.
The standard for the coat of arms of Paberžė was created by the artist Rolandas Rimkūnas.
