The red field of the coat of arms depicts a fragment of a golden castle with a corner tower. Only a fragment is depicted, as the whole castle would look bad on the coat of arms.
When considering the motifs of the coat of arms of Medininkai, there was no doubt in anyone’s mind that the coat of arms should represent Medininkai Castle, one of the most important defensive structures of the past.
The standard of the coat of arms of Medininkai was created by artist Juozas Galkus.
