Coat of arms of Maišiagala

decoration

The black field depicts St. St Anthony is dressed in a brown abbot’s habit and his head is adorned with sparkling nimbus. The saint holds the infant Jesus, seated on a silver cloth, close to his chest, and in his left hand is a green lily branch with silver blossoms. Both figures have golden hair and bodies of natural colour. The present coat of arms can be considered an analogue of the Maišiagala coat of arms, which was adopted at the end of the 18th century.
