The coat of arms depicts a red stag standing on a pistol in a silver field, leaning on the red side of the shield with a silver heraldic insignia, otherwise St. The cross of St George is on the right. St. George's Cross, with a red and white George's Cross on the side. The cross of St George symbolises the piety of the people of Buivydžiai and the church of the same name there. The silver field represents the location of the place near beautiful and state-protected water bodies. The deer is a symbol of the rich forests and beautiful landscape that cover more than half of Buivydžiai. Its red colour, which in heraldry stands for love, bravery and courage, is an allusion to the participation of the people of this region in the fighting and the religious persecution by the Soviet authorities.
